Cockroach Infestation Islington 24/7
Cockroaches are a major health hazard to both commercial and domestic owners. They can carry a number of different diseases such as salmonella and dysentery. To eliminate the infestation there a couple of solutions our trained Islington pest controllers can carry out. IGR bait is an insect growth regulator that stops the cockroach replacing its skin. IGR bait is applied in small doses around the infestation and away from human contact; this is a highly effective method of removing the infestation. Another solution is Permethrin dust, which is used in cases of the infestation in roofs or under floors. Both of these products are two of the safest insecticides to humans, dogs and cats. At Able Pest Islington we will provide advice and measures to prevent any further infestation. Our emergency operations centre is available 24/7 for any queries you may have.

Rats
The most commonly encountered rat is the brown rat (rattus norvegicus). They live alongside man, invading his buildings and eating his food. Farms, houses, hospitals, schools, food factories, hotels and restaurants all provide shelter and sustenance for an exploring rat. Wild rats are carriers of disease that can be transmitted to man.
Rats can be found almost anywhere inside a property, especially in areas with food. Rats can be identified by the droppings left by them. Rats are omnivorous, in that they are capable of eating anything, and have even been known to kill small pets when suitably starved.
It is imperative that rats be controlled as soon as they are spotted, as their excrement can carry parasites and bacteria. In most cases, we employ traps that use a Warfarin-based poison.
